I was struggling to find employment after my time in the military had come to an end. With bills hacking away at my savings, I decided to see what Direct Response in Trowbridge had to offer. In less than two weeks, they had found me contracted employment.
I did appreciate the freedom with the fact that if the temp job was not working out, the pay wasn’t to my liking, or I simply needed a day off to sort out the personal stuff, I always had the opportunity to talk to the Direct Response staff and they would sort the issue. I Joined Direct Response back in March 2021 when they found me a 12 month contract with Tarmac. I have now been offered a permanent position with the company. I required 2 catering staff to help with serving food and drinks for 50 guests, at my 70th birthday party. After approaching 4 local employment agencies, none of whom would supply staff for a private function, I approached Direct Response,
Ollie was immediately both helpful and efficient in establishing that the agency could be of help, and finding me the staff I required. The booking was done promptly and on line, and arrangements confirmed quickly.
On the night Juliet and William arrived promptly and were invaluable, working hard throughout, they not only helped but to set up the furniture at the venue, they anticipated what was required without always needing to be told. Juliet cooked and served canapés while William organised the bar. They were both extremely pleasant and helpful, both with myself and with my guests, it was a pleasure to have their help. They also helped us with clearing up as the event drew to an close, and kept everything clean and tidy so we left the hall in good order.
